Glyph Of Renewal Location
This is a story and a question about the location of Glyph Of Renewal.
First the story:
One cool calm sunny day, there was an averagely experianced elementalist who desperately wanted to get a shiney new elite to show off to her friends. This elementalist named Yasha Phyros thought it a good idea to try and capture glyph of renewal so she could attempt to spam 4 meteor showers, hoping that this was not too hard a task, she hired the nearest hench, and set forth into the not so cool calm and sunny, Perdition Rock. Little did she know that today would turn out to be the longest most aggravating day of her little guildwars life.
Yasha's owner had taken a day off school, due to a slight case of the sniffles and thought it a good idea to look up the skill location first.
He thought here would be a good place to look.
http://www.xennon.co.uk/eliteskills
after finding this...
He thought he had it sussed.
However after long hours hard trecking through the dastardly dank and derelict perdition rock all yasha had acumulated was a rather large death penalty and a few useless cesta's. Oh and not forgetting the rather pretty red spotted map. This whole trip was completed three times just to make sure i didnt have a bad spawn.
Now for the question, where in tyria do i capture Glyph of Renewal?!?
Thanks,
I appreciate any responses

It's a random spawn - it won't allways occur. Had the same thing happen to me when I was taking a guild member out into Perdition Rock, I told him to bring two cap sigs because there are lots of bosses out there. Two hours or so later and we had done the entire rock, and found not one ranger boss. Frustrating to say the least.

Look at the main location he will spawn and get there damn fast avoid all the mobs on the way(hydras-flesh) and look around the main areas as when they do spawn they like to walk

If i recall correctly, its on the same mob spawn that can also be echo or be healing hands. Obisidian flesh is the more difficult one to find, since i do not know what the placeholder for it is and he roams around the map.

xennon does a fairly good job of marking the possible spawn locations (some of the Southern Shiverpeak bosses were changed around, so those maps need to be updated), and there's really no point in checking the whole map if the boss wasn't in the spawn locations.
Last time I was capping at Perdition Rock, I noticed that only two of the Drake bosses would spawn in a single instance, and that each had its own location now, meaning if I didn't see Geckokaru Earthwind in the center Drake location, I wouldn't see him at any other places. I may be assuming a bit but last time I capped GoR it was in the southeastern corner of the map. If you don't see the boss there, rezone until you do.

Yeah, same thing happened to me when I was trying to cap echo for my mesmer. Just keep checking the western area of the island until the bugger spawns... I know how frustrating it can get.

Yay!
Just a few moments ago i found Nayl Klaw Tuthan, (the boss i needed) so I just thought i'd report back on my findings.
Here are the pics:
I found my boss and the mursaat gave me a lovely gold armour for my troubles,
Which salvaged into this pile of turd:
By the way the high death penalty is due to me only just realising that my newly bought 15k armour is yet to be infused.
In the end he spawned here:
Thanks to all who replied,

u need a warrior friend, preferbly a w/mo
a warrior friend can actially scout by himself while you walk back'n'forth near the zone keeping the henchmen with you,
where you marked "X" is where the warrior would first run to, check if the boss is there, if not, rezone, try again.
You can do this with just about most of the elite skills in the game

I guess the Hydras are still random then. Fun.
On a side note, I too tend to get rare drops every so often running around with henchies.

You know what skills are fun to cap?
Shield of Deflection, Migraine, and Ether Prodigy.
So many times, the right bosses never spawned, I thought I'd go nuts.
In the end, it took 15+ times for Migraine, 7+ for Shield of Deflection, and I don't remember Ether Prodigy.
Even more nightmarish is that I tended to find the right boss a lot BEFORE I switched secondaries/characters to cap the skill I wanted. They taunted me!

To contrast, I wanted to cap "defy pain" for my warrior. By far the easiest place is Lornar's Pass and Clobberhusk. You simply map out, press "ctrl" (or "alt" - whichever shows enemies - I never can remember no matter how often I use it - ARRRGH damn dyslexia!) and see if he is there, no need to move any after where you appear from the portal. I tried that for over 15 minutes before he appeared - dozens of times.
It took me well over 3 times to cap Signet of Judgement also. Though some have been pretty quick, but that's what happens with "random". Sometimes it's fast, other times not.
